This charming house is fondly known as "The Front Office".  It was built in 1929 as business premises for Jones & Sandford Ltd, one of New Plymouth's oldest surviving timber/construction firms.  Over the years the owners have brought it into the 21st century with a modern, urban industrial mix with aged features creating a very special and unique space. 

The living area feels expansive with high ceiling and large doors that open out to a deck area to beautifully manicured gardens.  Special touches create a warm relaxed feel where you can curl up on the couch with a good book.  The chef's kitchen is the hub of the house which brings everyone together.  It is an outstanding space which is nothing short of wow.  Art adorns the walls which captures the ambience and it's sense of luxury. 

Three beautifully appointed bedrooms.  A huge master bedroom with a comfortable king bed is in a seperate wing of the house with its own ultra modern bathroom.  In the other wing is a bedroom with two comfortable king beds which you walk though down a passage to another bathroom and the third large bedroom with a queen bed.  Additional features include a laundry area with a washing machine and clothes drier, unlimited wifi & central heating throughout.  Great off Street Parking in a large carpark area right outside the house, which services Mitre 10 and the Jones and Sandford building. 

Right on St Aubyn Street you are a ten minute walk to the CBD for Arts Culture & Shopping.  A five minute walk the NP Aquatic Centre and then onto the Scenic Coastal Walkway.  Plenty of cafes and takeaways conveniently located close by.  Don't miss the opportunity to stay somewhere that has such great local history. If the Region that the booking person is from has gone into Government forced Covid lockdown preventing you from physically travelling to our Region then you will be offered the opportunity to move dates or be refunded in full. We do not refund for cancelled events due to Covid, standard cancellation policies apply.

PLEASE NOTE THE CLEANING FEE: All linen & towels are provided by a commercial linen company and are professionally laundered. Properties have been cleaned prior to guests arrival to meet the Ministry of Health commercial cleaning standards. A part end of stay cleaning service is included. This covers the cleaning of bathrooms, mopping and rubbish removal. Guests are required to leave the property in a tidy and clean state which includes removing all sheets and pillowcases from beds and placing them in the laundry and making sure the kitchen is clean and all dishes are washed/the dishwasher loaded and turned on prior to departure.

All Bach Break properties come well equipped with cooking oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, milk, cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, liquid hand soap and body wash.
