Stay Central has recently gone through a full refurbishment to include brand new furnishings, quality decor and art. The Penthouse is located on the top floor and is split over two levels. The top opens up to huge open plan living area with your own private patio where you can have a glass of Merlot while soaking up views of the coastal walkway, blue-water ocean and the iconic wind wand. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and includes a butlers pantry. The penthouse also has the extra rooms of an office and laundry, which is convenient for longer stays. The lower level provides three double bedrooms for a great nights sleep and a spacious bathroom with a corner bath and shower.
Located right next to the Huatoki Plaza you can grab a latte, sit and relax in the arts hub of New Plymouth, enjoying the graffiti art that covers the nearby buildings. On a Saturday morning the Plaza comes alive with busy shoppers buying local arts and crafts from the pop up stalls. Visit the Puke Ariki Museum across the road, Govett Brewster Art Gallery and Len Lye Centre just up the street along with the West End Precinct. Spend your day exploring the many boutique stores or wander the award winning Scenic Coastal Walkway visiting East End and Fitzroy beaches.
This is the perfect accommodation for you to come together as a family but still allow everyone to do there own thing. A huge selection of award winning restaurants and cafes are a short walk away. This is great cost effective, comfortable accommodation in the heart of the action. Please note there is no lift and there is a number of stairs. One allocated off site car park included.This apartment is right in the CBD so guests may experience some noise on weekends.
Covid-19 cancellation policy. For reservations made on or after 10th June 2022 our standard cancellation policies will apply. From this date we will no longer be offering credits or moving booking dates if guests cannot travel due to testing positive for COVID and self isolating.

PLEASE NOTE THE CLEANING FEE: All linen & towels are provided by a commercial linen company and are professionally laundered. Properties have been cleaned prior to guests arrival to meet the Ministry of Health commercial cleaning standards. A part end of stay cleaning service is included. This covers the cleaning of bathrooms, mopping and rubbish removal. Guests are required to leave the property in a tidy and clean state which includes removing all sheets and pillowcases from beds and placing them in the laundry and making sure the kitchen is clean and all dishes are washed/the dishwasher loaded and turned on prior to departure.
All Bach Break properties come well equipped with cooking oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, milk, cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, liquid hand soap and body wash.
The property is very well equipped with most things you will need on holiday. If you use a hair dryer we ask that you bring one with you as hair dryers aren't supplied.
